As a result, family law is Jeremey’s passion, and he has practiced this complex area of law for over twelve (12) years. Consequently he understands the challenges that comes with facing divorce as a parent, having two children himself— Calvin and Adia. While he shares office space at Robert J. Reeves P.C., he has formed his own independent law practice Poindexter Law Firm LLC.
Given his own experience, he pledges his best efforts to make this process as easy as he can make it. In addition, Jeremey always remembers the primary goal in every case is to “get from A to B” as peaceably and as efficiently as possible. After all, there is no reason to make divorce even more stressful than it already is. And that is his promise to you.
Background and Training
Jeremey is a graduate of Aquinas College (2001) and Western Michigan University (2007); he was admitted to the South Carolina Bar Association in 2007. Before entering the legal field in 2007, he studied political science. In fact, while attending Aquinas College, Mr. Poindexter held a position within the office of the Governor which led to other political and campaign positions. Jeremy is also a former representative for the 10th judicial circuit on the SC Bar House of Delegates. Furthermore, he gains recognition as Fellow of the George Romney Institute for Law and Public Policy.
Upon entering the legal field, Jeremey moved to South Carolina and opened his own family and special education-focused law firm.
